To achieve this Architas performs two distinctive roles:

1. Advisory role

Architas Advisory Services Limited is aligned with AXA Wealth’s Strategic Business Units to help develop and manage their investment propositions. Working behind the scenes, Architas acts as an investment hub for AXA Group and is responsible for researching, recommending and monitoring funds on behalf of many other parts of the business. The information and research the Architas Investment Team produces is communicated to the Strategic Business Units, where each individual business maintains control of their investment proposition, product design and platform.

By providing the portal for AXA Group’s investment offerings, Architas not only saves time and resources it creates a ‘combined force’ with greater buying power and positioning with regard to fee negotiation.

2. Fund Manager role

Architas Multi-Manager Limited creates a range of Multi-Manager funds which combine the best of current market offerings with cutting edge thinking and investment design. These funds are either available through AXA products (as determined by each individual Strategic Business Unit), or directly to end consumers (through either Financial Advisers or fund supermarkets).
